He works at the La Fe Politecnic University Hospital, in Valencia (Spain). He has been working in different Specialties in Operatory Room and in ICU, specially in airway areas (ENT, maxillofacial, airway and thoracic surgery). He was also in charge for Airway Management teaching programs in postgraduate School in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in several hospitals and Valencia University. Executive director of the group of experts in teaching and research of the airway (FIDIVA). Coordinator of the SEDAR Task force for difficult airway guidelines and member of the cosulting group of Project for Universal Management of Airways (PUMA). Vice-president of the airway section of SEDAR. Member of the BOD of the European Airway Management Society (EAMS). Director of the Master in Difficult Airway, a degree from the University of Valencia.

Pedro is a lifelong airway management enthusiast. He was actively participated in the creation of airway work groups and in the training of international trainers in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil and Peru, also in Spain and Portugal through European teaching activities. Speaker in many congresses, workshops and scientific meeting in worldwide.

He has directed more than 150 airway courses and has participated as author or co-author in more than 100 publications, in addition to participating in the design of platforms and website for airway teaching.
